Our Christmas celebration was full of fun and fellowship. The children in our village outreach were given special gifts. A special program was held at a nearby military camp. In our church and English students’ party, the youth sang Christmas carols and our Sunday school children presented a short play. Pastor Arturo Bastes, our speaker, clearly explained the Good News.
After all the parties, the missionaries were blessed to have their break. The Nierrases spent some time in Bavet, Cambodia. They were able to attend Cambodia’s missionaries’ retreat. Rhoda enjoyed her time with her previous co-labourers in the Lord in Bangkok and also went to a mission trip in Chang Mai, Thailand while Esil went home to the Philippines.
